I've been thinking about this for awhile, and Christina Hendricks' character 'Joan Holloway' in Mad Men is a great example of a satanic witch. She knows her strengths and works them marvelously and is devious when it comes to manipulating men to get what she wants.

She does not portray a witch in the show, and the writers have written in some typical 50's issues with woman, such as her date rape scene, but she even put up with that reluctantly so she would keep her control over her man.
