most evreyone who has the internet has heard of this band, I think they are an amazing band.
as much as I hate politcal bands I love these guy's because they were political from the start, and I think they are the embodyment of American freedom's.
granted there skill's arnt anything to get excited over they dont possess any amazing druming, gutair, bass, or vocal talent they basicly get by on shock factor. but still there music is catchy, political and down right addacting.
plus there video's are hillarious, keep in mind I dont agree with most of there politcal point's but they do have some good point's and they arnt afraid to stand up for what they belive in.

yes, big fan. I've bought every one of their albums as soon as it came out, ever since the first. I'm always dissappointed because it takes them years and years to put out an album, and they don't really do shows inbetween. They just drop off the face of the earth.

I saw them live when they toured after their second album.

Favorite song right now is Renegades of Funk. Dance Sucka!

They definitely exemplify the freedom of speech this country was founded on.

They do occasionally resort to the shock factor, but I think they owe most of their success to their passion and powerful message. Opposition to consumerism and globalism is a cause that any freethinking person should be willing to get behind.

Granted, they're socialists, but they believe in socialism as it was originally understood, not the centralist, statist oligarchies of wealth that experiments in socialism (as well as capitalism) usually produce.

Hail hail!

I saw Rage Against the Machine back in Toronto in 97 or so. They kept their show real simple, on stage a little blue light lit an american flag with "666" written on it! It was an awesome concert!!!

Hail Satan (that's me!)
